Hole in the Rock

Last weekend we went and explored Hole in the Rock, by Lake Powell. It was quite amazing to see where the pioneers went down this narrow little crack.
This is where the pioneers would stop and wait for the trail to be scouted out ahead and apparently they would dance and sing here.

Chad let MaCade help drive for a little bit. Don't worry! We were on a dirt road, out in the middle of no where. MaCade thought he was so big and laughing the whole time!

This is overlooking Lake Powell right by Hole in the Rock.

This is the crack that the pioneers used to lower everyone down. I can't even imagine how hard that would have been.

It was a great day to be outside too, can I just tell you how much I like SPRING! We have many more exploration trips planned out like this while we are down here and hopefully we can get to all of them before we head back up north.
