Family Bowling Tournament
For family night this week we went bowling. Boy, has bowling changed since I was a kid. They have these little ramps that you can set up so that the kids can just roll their ball off it and it will send it down the lane where there are bumpers on both sides that keep the ball from going in the gutter. It is also computerized so that the bumpers come up with certain players and down for others. Simply Amazing! It was halarious to watch Brynlee and MaCade try to lift their ball up and walk to the ramp, but both were determined to do it themselves. Brynlee won our tournament with a score of 129 by herself! Go Brynlee! I, on the other hand, left with a score of 54. Needless to say I wasn't at the top of my game(really, I use to be a decent bowler). Chad got a 115 and MaCade got a 78. Dallin was of course just excited to be there. He would start flapping his arms and kicking his legs when he would see a ball go down the lane. I haven't been bowling for quite awhile so it was fun to go again. I forgot to take my camera so you might just have to imagine what we looked like.

Sounds like fun! I haven't been bowling forever either, maybe that will be our next family night :)
ReplyDeleteYour kids are adorable. I hope you don't mind me peeking in on your blog. I think that Brynlee looks a lot like you!
ReplyDeleteGood job, Gwen! I usually get a score under 60 even when I am trying. I have never claimed to be a good bowler -- I just go to be entertaining!
ReplyDeleteThe other night we made brownies for the missionaries and I said to Cole, "Do you want a brownie?" And Cole's response was, "Brynlee Brown - she's cute!!" So every time we mention brownies he talks about Brynlee. Every time we bake brownies we will think of Brynlee!!
