We were able to go to the open house to the Draper temple as a family. It was really neat to show the kids what the temple looks like inside. Brynlee's favorite part was the baptismal font and the pretty lights because they had lots of sparkles. MaCade's favorite part was stomping his shoes on the plastic rugs all the way down the hall. (I bet no one would have guessed that!)I was a little embaressed. All in all, it was a good experience for them. I am so blessed to live close to so many temples and I am grateful for the blessing we have to be together as a family forever.

Ha ha. Janie's favorite part was the font also...and don't worry. We had a hard time keeping Addi from running along the plastic. Must be the ages! :)
ReplyDeleteGwen,
ReplyDeleteYeah... you are blogging! I found you on Noelle's blog. Hopefully we can stay in touch better now. I'm not a very good blogger though. I have a hard time keeping my blog up to date (as I'm sure you will notice!)
Your kids are so darling and growing so fast!
