We try to make it up to the state fair every year and of course one of the highlights is riding the ponies, the other is petting the baby calves. We must be raising city kids! We pay to go see farm animals! (Ok that is not all we pay to go see, but still)They get all excited to ride a pony around in a circle for about a minute. It is so different from how Chad and I were raised. Chad had cows growing up and I remember raising pigs in our own backyard. Granted I didn't have much to do with them, but it's funny that my kids seldom get to be around farm animals and we go the the fair to see them. It's Chad's dream to own horses someday so hopefully our kids will get to ride horses more than around a little circle.
