Memorial Weekend

My family came to visit for the long weekend. We spent most of our time outdoors and enjoying nature. Thank goodness the weather cooperated with us. We had lots of fun visiting and playing together. We started out with a drive to Posey Lake with a little hike around the lake,

then a drive over Hell's Backbone, (I thought this was a really unique tree hanging over a cliff.)

stopping for a picnic along the way, this is all the grand kids in our family. (excluding the two new baby girls)
The next day we ventured through some slot canyons, they were so awesome!

The last day that my family was here we took the six mile hike up to Lower Calf Creek falls. I have to add that Brynlee hiked the whole way by herself, I was really proud of her. It was a great way to start off our summer and I am glad that everyone came.
