Memorial Weekend

 For Memorial Weekend we got together with some friends and went down to Escalante for a couple days.

Day 1: We went hiking to Peekaboo and Spooky slot canyons. They were so awesome! We were suppose to do a circle: go up through peekaboo and then back down Spooky into a ravine and back on the trail to the car. We came out Spooky and then took a wrong turn and ended up on top of the canyons on the wrong side. We were getting low on water, it was HOT, and we had lots of kids so we decided to go back down Peekaboo. It ended up just fine, but a little nerve racking for a minute.

Day 2: We went up to some mountain lakes and went fishing and hiking. I had forgotten how beautiful it was up on this mountain.

Day 3: We went on a hike to Lower Calf Creek Falls. It was a perfect day for a hike. There was a cloud cover that made it so nice  to hike and the falls were awesome! We ended up running into some people in our ward, the Holindrakes. It is fun to run into people you know outside of where you live! Chad has been friends with the Taylor's and the Peztinger's since high school. We always talk about doing something like this when we get together and we all finally made it happen! Good Times and Good memories!
