Chad had this great idea that we needed to give the kids the experience of going to get wood. I did it all growing up and hated it! SO needless to say, I was not enthused with the idea. He won out and we went and got some wood to use in our fire pit. It was not as bad as I remember and fun to get out and spend time with our little family. The kids had a blast!
