When we woke up we were on the next island, Nassau. we had to wake up early so that we could get our shuttle to go scuba diving. We went with Monquie and Steve who have been doing scuba for a long time. Our ride to the other side of the island was a thrill in its self. Our bus driver had crazy driving skills! We thought someone if not us was going to die. We got our equipment and set out on the boat to a location where they sunk a ship about a month ago for the purpose of diving. I had a rough start, I didn't have enough weight so I had to figure that out and then I took a look through my mask and kind of panicked at the huge ocean under me! I kind of freaked out! Chad finally got me to go down and we swam around the ship (I even swam through a little opening of the ship, which I am proud of myself for doing I might add) and saw some fish. We headed back up to the boat and Chad started feeling nausea, but he was determined to go on the next dive. There was a pretty bad current where we were suppose to go so we went where the Discovery channel dives when they dive for sharks (apparently they don't take many people here.) Here there was two ships sunk and a little reef. This dive was easier for me but Chad felt like he was going to puke so we swam around for about 20 mins before he felt like he needed to go to the surface. We saw about 5 sharks, tons of fish, and lots of reef animals. As we were headed up the mooring line Chad starts puking about 30 feet under. I was behind him so we are just swimming in puke and all this little fish are swarming and having a feast! Needless to say our first dive will be memorable! We think he had something in his regulator or bad air because he felt fine before and felt fine after his little episode. We made it back to the ship and we watched karaoke again, and went to a few game shows.
