I know what I'm talking about

In the Spring, when we were getting the garden planted each of the kids planted a seed randomly in the garden. When the plants started to grow we decided that the kids' plants didn't come up. Dallin persistantly took care of where he thought he planted his seed. We kept telling him that it was a weed and when it was time to plant the other plants that we would have to dig up the weed. He kept watering it and as we looked closer we would swear that it looked like a potato plant,( but we didn't give him a potato seed?) Well, he harvested 3 big potatoes yesterday. He was pretty proud of himself! We went inside and made mashed potatoes for dinner.
