We are moved back to Lehi

Saying Good-Bye to our home in Escalante.

We moved back to Lehi a couple weeks ago, but with trying to unpack, repaint, trips, and cold weather it has taken me more time than I thought to finally get around to posting about it. We really enjoyed our time in Escalante, there was so much country to see and outdoor activities to do. We fell in love with the community and have some really great friends there, but I have to admit that I am kind of glad to be back to convenience and having Chad around on the weekends. We made some changes to our home in Lehi(with the help of Chad's brother and dad)and it made it look like a new house again. Brynlee seems to be adjusting back to school here, but I think she misses the small school in Escalante a little. She says that she is scared of getting lost.
Here are some pictures of what we did to our house. We first put up a chair rail in the dining room.Then we added some shadow boxes.and with a little repainting ,this is the end result. I love it! Someday I want to re-stain our table a darker brown. Then we did the same thing in our room We had some extra chair rail so we added a little spice to the kid's rooms. Now that that project is done, I need to conquer the mountain of boxes in the garage.
