Christmas in Idaho

There was a little bit of snow when we arrived in Idaho so the kids took advantage of it and went sledding behind the tractor.

We had a near miss with the baler. Luckily Chad's dad stopped the tractor in time before we had a catastrophe on our hands.

Our Christmas Eve tradition is to open one present and the kids are catching on to what it is every year. Pajamas!

Christmas Morning is always filled with excitement! I love it!

Christmas afternoon we spent a hour in the emergency room with Dallin getting stitches above his eye. He hit the glass coffee table, the crazy thing is he wasn't even being rowdy, he was quietly playing by himself! And this seems to be his favorite face lately.

Then Church with the cousins

For Family Night Chad's parents got the whole family together (we are quite the crowd with nine kids and their kids and such) for a talent night at this really cool barn. I was amazed at the talent that our family has. We have piano players, flute player, drum player, violin players, banjo player, a hula dancer, a poem reciter, and of course our gourmet mother cook that brought homemade chili with hot homemade bread and with everyone's participation we had quite the hoedown! (with the exception of the guitar players, everyone in the picture is family! I love being part of such a great crowd that gets along so well).

Thank you Joel and Sharon for a fantastic Christmas break.
