We went to Grand Junction, Colorado to see my nephew get baptized this last weekend. We decided to take the long way and see some different country. We dropped down to Lake Powell and rode the ferry across the lake, then ran into some cliff dwellings, then headed north through the San Juan Mountains to Grand Junction.

The kids were so amazed that our car was going on the boat with us.

Unfortunately, we didn't get any pictures of the family at the baptism, I don't know quite what I was thinking when I left my camera behind. Hopefully someone will share with me. It was quite a fun little mini vacation.

On a side note, we went on a hike near the reservoir that Chad is working on and took a picture of the progress. ( for those that are interested.)
