Happy Easter!

Easter at our house was pretty low key this year. When the kids got up we went to see what the Easter Bunny left, which MaCade kept confusing with Santa, and then Chad made us waffles for breakfast, then we spent the rest of the day being lazy (as much as we could with three kids) and watching conference in our PJ's. We asked the kids why we have Easter and

Brynlee says,"Because Jesus is back alive....I can't remember that big word."

Chad "Resurrected."

Brynlee "Yes, that one."

I don't know why I was surprised that she remembered what resurrected means, but it makes me happy that things are sticking with her, someone is doing something right in my book (I am thankful for primary). I am thankful for my Savior and that he did die for me and that he lives again. What a spectacular thing to celebrate. Happy Easter!!!

Someone wasn't quite so happy this morning, and yes that is chocolate drool.
