Memorial Weekend

We went up to see Chad's family for the weekend. It is always fun to go spend time with family. We decided that we would take the kids to see the alligator farm that was on the way up to Chad's parents. It was funny to listen to Brynlee and MaCade's reaction when they got out of the car.
MaCade says, "Where is the alligators, Snap, Snap". (as he is clapping his hands together like an alligator mouth)
Brynlee says, "How far away are the alligators, I don't want them to get me."
After reassuring her that they wouldn't get her and that they were behind a fence she seemed to be okay with the whole idea.

Saturday we headed out to southern Oregan to have a family picinic. We occasionally stopped along the way to look at the antalope, pick flowers, snakes in the road, and just to take in all the variety of the landscape that was out there. After lunch we headed out for a little walk down to the river. Chad's brother-in-law almost steps on this huge blow snake and of course Chad's Dad had to pick it up. I can't stand snakes so needless to say I wasn't getting close enough to take a picture and that pretty much cut my walk short.

One night while we were getting the kids ready for bed, we told MaCade to get his pajamas on and he thought he was pretty funny when he put on Chad's shorts and started running around the bed. Where do these little people come from? Of course he had us laughing.
